terns-done in pen

this mixed tern flock is one of many I saw at Splash Point this spring seawatching. Done in pen in around 15 minutes

a few short words;

I am a 14 year old, and have been interested in birds for as long as I can remember. for most of that time I was also picking up pencils and pens and drawing them. Of course, most of this was crap, but, as picasso said;

'every child is an artist. the problem is staying an artist once you've grown up.'

well, I'm bang slap in the middle of that phase, and since I'm still keen on drawing, I'll take that as a good sign! I have had great support from some fantastic, professional bird artists over the past few months, which has helped me come on in leaps and bounds. This blog is dedicated to all of them, and hopefully the don't mind popping in every now and then to see what I'm up to!

This is still very much a developing skill for me. I am not looking to flog paintings off, i am merely hoping to express myself and my passion for the wildlife all aroud me. I f I do that I have succeeded!

Of course, if someone would like to buy one of these you are more than welcome, however, some I wouldn't want to sell at any rate, but contact details are somewhere down the side just in case.

anyway, I'll be glad to see what people think of these, and please leave comments!
